How does the AmaliTech Apprenticeship Project work?

AmaliTech apprentices work on a real tech or business challenge you define, over 3–6 months, guided by your team and an AmaliTech mentor. It's mutually beneficial — your organization gets practical project support while apprentices gain hands-on experience. Projects run in set cohort cycles.

The programme suits organizations with tech or business challenges beyond their current capacity — think ERP systems, data, cloud, or digitization projects. Proposals must be scoped to fit the cohort timeline, and not all submissions are guaranteed acceptance.

What time commitment is expected of me as a project partner?

Accepted Answer

Partners need to assign one dedicated contact, provide the team with necessary resources and data access, and actively participate in check-ins throughout the project. Engagement is key to a successful outcome.

What if my project is not completed within the programme cycle?

Accepted Answer

Projects must fit within the cohort timeline. If scope expands beyond that, any additional work would require a separate agreement with AmaliTech, outside the apprenticeship programme structure.

What legal agreement can my company expect to sign?

Accepted Answer

Before a project can begin, both parties must sign a Project Partnership Agreement covering IP rights, data access, and collaboration scope. This must be completed before the programme starts.

Question 6

Who owns the intellectual property created during the project?

Accepted Answer

At the end of the project, your company receives permanent, non-exclusive rights to all IP created by the apprentice team — meaning you're free to use and build on the outputs without restriction, as outlined in the Project Partnership Agreement.

How are projects selected, and will every proposal be accepted?

Accepted Answer

Projects are selected based on fit with apprentice skills, feasibility within the programme timeline, and learning value. Not all proposals are accepted — detailed, well-scoped submissions have the best chance. Shortlisted partners receive feedback before final decisions are made.
